FOR YOU: All Encore Nurses are licensed Registered Nurses, trained in expert injecting by our Medical Director Dr. Alissandro "Andy" Castillo. They are subject to a background check prior to employment, must have a valid NC driver’s license, and must be up to date with CPR training. Before your appointment you will see a picture and view the credentials of your Encore Nurse so you know who to expect at your door.
FOR OUR NURSES: Before an Encore Nurse comes to your location, we will require some information from you. We will confirm your identity and research the location you request for treatment. While we strive to be very flexible, we will always allow our Nurses the discretion to request an alternate location. Encore Nurses carry no cash ~ all payments must be credit card transactions. The central office knows the Nurse's location at all times through live, real-time GPS tracking.
FOR BOTH YOU AND OUR NURSES: We have Standard Operating Procedures designed to cover all possible circumstances. This includes what is known as a "Finger Stick Protocol," in the extremely unlikely event of an accidental needle stick to you or the nurse. In this rare circumstance, you may be required to submit to blood tests, including a quick HIV test and drawing blood for additional testing. This has never happened in the history of Encore Nurses, but we are prepared nonetheless.
Encore Nurses charge $10 per unit for Botox. There is a small $25 travel fee to have a Registered Nurse come to your home or office, but this fee is waived for first-time patients. Our efficiency and low overhead allows us to offer this service at such a remarkably low price.
For first-time patients there is no minimum number of units required for our Nurses to travel. However, for subsequent visits there is a 12-unit minimum. This includes touch-up visits so we strive to get your best results with the first treatment.
After your initial appointment, we must charge a small travel fee and require a minimum number of units to make it cost-effective to travel to your home. This is another way that we are able to keep our overhead low and provide this convenient service. But we do allow you to split those minimums between up to 3 people.
The 12-unit minimum is for each travel incidence, as is the $25 travel fee. So if you need less than 12 units, you can invite a few friends over and split the minimum number of units as well as the travel fee. We can treat up to 3 people at each location, but each patient must be registered separately and the appointments must be scheduled consecutively through our scheduler.
For example: You and Jennifer and Sarah would all like Botox. You only need a touch-up or 2 to 4 units, your friend Jennifer needs 24 units, and Sarah needs 8. The combined number of units is 34 to 36 units, easily meeting the 12-unit minimum. You can also split the travel fee amongst yourselves ~ Jennifer and Sarah can each give you $8 while you pay $9 to cover the $25 fee.
We do charge a nominal $25 Travel Fee per location to come to your home or office ~ but this fee is WAIVED for first-time patients. If more than one person is treated at the same location, the fee may be split. We can comfortably treat up to 3 patients at a time with consecutive appointment times at one location for only one Travel Fee.
Encore Nurses administer certified Botox, stored and reconstituted in strict accordance to Allergan standards. But our treatments ARE different: they're better! Not only are they only administered by board-certified Registered Nurses, but our nurses use two devices to protect against bruising. Encore Nurses use the Accuvein Vein Finder and a Syris polarizing headlamp to better see the area to be treated. This helps us avoid hitting veins which can result in bruising. We also keep precise records of injection sites taking pictures to track your results.
No. One of the keys to keeping costs competitive is that we do not have a physical location for Encore Nurses. However, if you are interested in additional services, you are invited to visit our Medical Director at M.D. Laser Studio in Lake Norman.
For the safety of our Encore Nurses, we only take debit or credit cards. Nurses carry no cash. We do not accept checks. Once your treatment plan is made and you've given your approval, our Encore Nurse will charge your credit card and then administer your Botox.
It takes 10 days to see the full results from any Botox treatment. If after 10 days you still feel that you need more Botox, our Nurse will return to your preferred location and fine-tune your treatment. We will take more pictures and compare your results, noting any changes in dosage, so your next treatment will be spot-on!
No. Encore Nurses only offers Botox ~ a muscle relaxer. If you're looking to fill creases or increase volume in your lips or cheeks, you need a dermal filler. Encore Nurses does not offer dermal fillers.
If you're interested in dermal fillers, feel free to schedule an appointment with our Medical Director, Dr. Andy Castillo, at his full-service medical cosmetic facility: M.D. Laser Studio.
If you would like to have a friend or two join you at your appointment, we can accommodate up to 3 patients by scheduling consecutive appointments at one location! Just remember, the Nurse will need approximately 30 minutes with each person. Each person will need to register as a New Patient and schedule a separate appointment.
With multiple appointments at one location, only one patient will be charged the $25 travel fee. You can split this with your friends!
You can schedule your appointment right through this website by clicking on the "Schedule" link or clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of the page. NOTE: if you've never had an Encore Nurse come to your home or office to administer Botox, you will need to click the BLUE button and answer a few medical questions first. You can call us toll-free at 844-66ENCORE (844-663-6267) to schedule or with any questions. Just remember, since our nurse travels she may not be able to answer your call immediately. But if you leave your name, contact information, and the best time to reach you, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Aside from registering and completing your Medical History form in advance of your first appointment, there is very little else you need to do.
We know you're busy. We don't expect your house to be clean and ready for company: we are there to provide a service, not cause you additional stress!
Select an area in your home where we can comfortably treat you. We need around 2 or 3 square feet of table or countertop space, and a chair or barstool (preferably with a back), and decent lighting. Generally the kitchen or dining room area works best.
We also ask that you contain any excitable pets. But that's really it! We want this process to be as simple and convenient as possible!
The needles used to deliver Botox are quite tiny. Very few people describe the treatment as painful. In fact, most people are surprised at how comfortable the procedure is, and even people who experience mild discomfort agree that the sensation is brief.
Yes! Brilliant Distinctions® is a rewards program offered by Allergan, the makers of Botox Cosmetic. Every time you get treated with BOTOX® Cosmetic, you’ll earn points for savings on future treatments or purchases. It’s easy, and free, and Encore Nurses supports the program! Click on the link on the bottom of the page to access the Brilliant Distinctions program.
In general, no, we do not offer Botox parties. We prefer to treat 3 or fewer people at a time. We strive to offer personalized, individual care, and that can be a challenge in a larger group.
We will make exceptions from time to time, but when we do we'd like to limit the attendees seeking treatment to 5 per event. And if we do an event in someone's home, we must insist that all attendees be registered and pre-approved for treatment by our Medical Director prior to the event.
If you would like to be considered to host an Encore Nurses Botox event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
